A single contractor accountable for the whole build
As principal contractor we take a scheme from pre-construction through to handover – managing programme, procurement, trades, health & safety and client reporting under one roof. It’s a natural extension of the bricklaying and groundworks teams Bennetts has run for over four decades: the same directly-employed workforce, now wrapped in full project management.
Because our core trades are in-house, we control the parts of a programme that most often slip – brickwork, foundations and structure – and subcontract the rest to a vetted supply chain we’ve worked with for years. The result is fewer interfaces, tighter cost control and a build you can hold one company responsible for.

Pre-construction
Buildability review, early cost planning and programme development while the design is still fluid - the cheapest point to solve problems.

Mobilisation
Site set-up, CDM duties, supply-chain procurement and a fixed baseline programme every stakeholder signs up to.
03
Construction
In-house brickwork, groundworks and structure driving the critical path, with vetted subcontractors managed against weekly targets.
04
Handover
Progressive snagging, commissioning, O&M documentation and a clean handover - plus aftercare once you are in occupation.
